“Robots and ICT for Active and Healthy Ageing – The potential for
EU–Japan cooperation”
Outline: Given the prominence of ageing to both Europe and Japan, and
the recent EU-Japan seminar in Brussels on silver ICT, this seminar,
held following talks between European and Japanese counterparts, will
present forthcoming possible joint initiatives between the EU and
Japan in this field, specifically from the perspective of ICT and
service robotics.
