Great news! Now you can mark your agendas for our two flagship events of the second semester:
–    EURAXESS Science Slam Japan 2015, 23 October, Tokyo Metropolitan University, and
–    European Research(ers’) Day, 11 December, Delegation of the EU to Japan, Tokyo.
Calls for contributions are open for both of these, so go and check the ELJ activities section!

Some very important developments in Europe-Japan cooperation in research strategy and exchanges happened recently, in particular through the EU-Japan Summit, and via the ERC-JSPS agreement on researcher mobility; you can  read all the details in our news section!

As usual, you will also find in this newsletter a list of upcoming deadlines for mobility or funding programmes, which should keep you busy during the summer months!
Finally, this month’s EU insight is about how to better integrate the scientific and technology outputs to political decision-making.

Enjoy the reading!
