5 offres d’Assistant Professor à l’Institute of Materials Strcuture Science du KEK

IMSS12-12

Institute of Materials Structure Science

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS) promotes extensive and crosscut use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation (SR), neutrons, muons and positrons, in materials and life sciences. The successful candidate will carry out fundamental science and materials developments with high intensity slow positron beams at the Slow Positron Facility (SPF) in the IMSS. He/she is also expected to pursue the development and maintenance of the beam transport and the experimental facilities of the SPF in addition to the user’s support of the inter-university program.

Assistant Professor – deadline 2013/1/31

IMSS12-13

Institute of Materials Structure Science

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS) promotes interdisciplinary and complimentary use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation (SR), neutron, muon and positron, in materials and life sciences research. The successful candidate will be a member of the Life Science Group of the Photon Factory (PF) and involved in the structure-function study of proteins by mainly using X-ray macromolecular crystallography. He/she will be expected to work on purification and structure analysis of large protein complexes in the eukaryotic transcription system.

Assistant Professor – deadline 2013/1/31

IMSS12-14

Institute of Materials Structure Science

The Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), which is affiliated to KEK acting as an Inter-University Research Institute Corporation, promotes interdisciplinary and complimentary use of four types of quantum beams, synchrotron radiation (SR), neutron, muon and positron, in materials and life sciences research. The successful candidate will belong to the Photon Factory and is expected to pursue the development of soft X-ray beamlines and experimental techniques using soft X-rays. He/she will also be expected to engage in the research on solid state physics in thin films and surface/interface using soft X-ray absorption and photoelectron spectroscopy.
